The Darlington County Cultural Realism Complex, Inc., CRC Inc., is serving in its 33rd year as State Sponsor for the South Carolina Finals of the Hal Jackson's International Talented Teens Competition. I pause to give thanks to Hal Jackson for allowing us to be part of this unique experience for these many years. We are forever grateful for this opportunity.
During the past 32-years, hundreds of young ladies of all ethnicity have passed through our corridors forever changed by this one experience. This experience has instilled within each the confidence that they can achieve and obtain whatever goals they set their minds to. Such confidence was internalized by a 1990' S.C. Finalist that went on to become Miss America 1994', Kimberly Aiken. In keeping with this outstanding tradition, we are seeking to find the next Miss America from the Palmetto State.
We give thanks to God for giving us the strength to persevere these many years, for our dedicated Board of Directors, and volunteers who give so unselfishly of themselves to "Reach Out and Touch Others" in this undertaking.
Finally, we would like to thank the business community, parents, participants, and our many friends who have given support throughout the years.
